Antique Victorian Oak Dickens Desk and dating from around 1880. Constructed from quality oak it has three small drawers to each side all with original turned oak knob handles and joined by a turned spindle gallery and shelf. To the desk top there is a moulded edge and to the centre there is a sloped writing skiver which raises to reveal a storage well and pigeon holes. To either side of this is a further faux leather skiver above three drawers with the central drawer being a false front. It stands on a pedestal base with each pedestal having three graduating drawers all of which are oak lined with original turned oak knob handles and it stands on a deep plinth base. The top separates from the base for ease of transporting.

Measures 42" high to top x 30" to desk top x 24" deep x 54" wide
In very good condition with lovely deep colour and patination and oozing all the charm and character of the period. Our antique furniture is cleaned and polished using traditional waxing methods.
