Very good condition.
Professionally cleaned.
Period ebonised frame.
This is a beautifully painted English country landscape painting featuring black faced sheep.
Oil on canvas. Very good condition throughout
Lightly cleaned by a professional art restorer.
The signature Th 95 is indistinct but became apparent during cleaning. I cannot confirm the artist but its good to confirm a date - 1895.
Inner silver gilt frame, outer ebonised frame.

75cm x 54.5cm
Blackfaced Sheep.
The Blackface is thought to have originated in the UK in the 12th century and is from the same genetic umbrella as other horned sheep, such as the Swaledale and Rough Fell. The Blackface Sheep Breeders Association was established in 1901. ALL OF OUR PRICES INCLUDE FREE UK MAINLAND DELIVERY.
