An Attractive and good quality Victorian walnut and burr walnut writing table of the more desirable kidney shaped form. The shaped and cross banded top divided into 3 sections with old green leather writing surfaces, each with gold and blind tooling. The frieze with 2 bow fronted drawers both having turned drawer pulls, the kneehole with a decorative "C" scroll fretted carving. The whole standing on turned and carved end supports with a joining stretcher. The cabriole legs with carved knees, scroll feet and brass and white porcelain castors.In A1 condition with a warm patina. Sizes- Width...47''...119.5cm. Depth...24''...61cm. Height...28''...71cm.
