This attractive glass ceiling light dates from the mid-twentieth century. It has textured glass panels held together with a wire-work frame. The larger panels are patterned and the shade has a green tinge to the glass. There are no maker's marks or labels. The light retains its metal hanging chain and metal light fitting. It is designed to be wired into the mains electric, but the fitting is old and has not been tested - we would recommend it be fitted by a professional electrician. The shade is very much in the retro style with elements of the art deco.

Condition Overall in excellent condition with wear consistent with age and use. There are some flaws in the glass as might be expected and some tarnishing to the metalwork. There is some slight nibbling to the glass panels in places. The shade is overall grubby and dusty and would benefit from a careful clean.
