A delightful and useful vintage handbag mirror made in the 1950s by Kigu Ltd. The powder compact is in very good condition. It has beautiful guilloche engraving on the lid, interior and base. This mid-century compact mirror was coated at the point of manufacture with a layer of transparent enamel so that it will never tarnish need to be cleaned. All clasps and hinges work perfectly. The mirror is excellent and gives a clear accurate reflection. The original sifter is in place and so this compact can be used with loose face powder.

This vintage compact measures 7 cm and weighs 79.8 grams.
