This is certainly a very handsome example. Lots and lots of work has gone into the detail of this astragal glazed bookcase. The base at 16.5inches depth is a little less than many so it could help if space is a little tight. The top depth however is quite normal.
The doors in the base of this 19th century bookcase, just below the useful middle drawers, have moulded detailing with a 17thC influence and the cornice has the dental moulding along its length.
A very superior example in a good walnut colour, a little lighter than a mahogany one of course. If required we have other items in walnut to go with. This bookcase will not disappoint.
