A good quality Victorian figured walnut writing table of the desirable kidney shaped form with stretcher base. The cross banded top with 3 sections of hand dyed leather each with blind and gold tooling. The frieze with 2 bow fronted and cock beaded drawers with turned walnut pulls. The base with particularly well turned and carved columns and supported on carved cabriole legs with brass castors. In excellent condition with working locks and keys. Sizes- Width..48''..122cm.
