A quite extraordinary Welsh cheese press which works on a pulley system, as the box section was not believed to be heavy enough to squeeze the cheese, it would have been filled with stones to enable it to apply the required pressure. All made in oak, this article requires some restoration to put it back into full working order. Datecirca 1800
