William 4th Mahogany Desk by James Winter

Highest quality William IV mahogany three part desk by JAMES WINTER, 101 WARDOUR STREET, LONDON. The two pedestals with cupboards doors with drawers inside on both sides. The drawers all mahogany lined with original turned ebony knobs. The cupboard doors with original locks and working key. The top section with three drawers with old replacement brass swan neck handles. Again the drawers are mahogany lined. The leather insert top looks to be the original. The middle top drawer is stamped with the makers name and 101 Wardour Street address along the top edge. The desk pedestals have all their original castors which again are top quality.
The desk is top quality and is in very good condition. The back looks almost as good as the front.
