WW2 Elgin pocket watch
WW2 Elgin pocket watch.
The watch has a jewelled stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed and the serial number 41,298,415 dates it back to 1943.
The watch measures 52mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case would originally have been plated but the centre of the screw-on case back has been polished back to brass.
The acrylic lens is in good condition.
The signed shiny black dial has some faint hairline cracks but they are difficult to see with the naked eye.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box. ALL PRICES INCLUDE UK POSTAGE (excluding Northern Ireland).
