WW2 Japanese Katana in scabbard
WW2 Japanese Katana in it's black lacquered wooden scabbard scabbard. Note the leather covering to the scabbard is missing. Has a bronze mounted and cord bound shagreen grip. Has a curved, single edged tapering blade with some rust staining. Signed tang with manufactures mark. Scabbard with some damage to lacquer and a split along the base. Age wear overall.
Approximately 100cm overall and blade 66cm.
