ENGLISH JOINED OAK CHEST
CIRCA 1640
CARVED THREE PANEL FRONT WITH ARCH DORIC COLUMNS AND LEAF AND BUD CORNERS WITH CENTRAL INLAID CLASSICAL KNOT PATTERN
THIS DESIGN IS TYPICAL OF THE WEST COUNTRY
RETAINS GOOD SURFACE,ORIGINAL RING HINGES
In fair condition ,the inside corners have all been braced with metal straps ,also the center hinge has also been braced where thre has been a crack to the rail,there is also a repair to front left hand leg.
