A 19th Century Camphor Wood Campaign Chest,

This is a beautiful looking and fine quality camphor wood Campaign chest, the interior shows signs of the old green base that has been removed, this is because it was probably a silver chest in a past life.
The Chest has a half fall front and and a sliding removable tray, it has campaign style brass bound corners and edges and brass carrying handles
This is an attractive piece with a good rich colour, it is in in good condition no worm or any other defects apart from age related wear and the lock does not work, but the lid has small pegs which hold it closed

The box measures 25’’ wide x 14’’ deep and stands 10’’ high
