A pleasingly presented 5' x 3' and very solidly crafted Victorian English mahogany library writing desk c1880.

Of larger proportions the desk is very robust with quality solid mahogany throughout showing pleasing grain and desirable colour.

With a pair of outer drawers flanking a larger central one, displaying very attractive shell cup brass handles the desk provides superb practicality.

The classic green leather upper is both tooled and embossed and is presented in excellent condition.

Rising from china castors, through turned & tapered legs, it offers the opportunity to be used as a writing desk, hall table or library piece.

A generous height of 79cm (31.1") adds to the practicality.
