Antique English Cast Brass String Box / Dispenser

A most handsome Victorian string box or dispenser, made from heavy cast brass, beautifully decorated.
The box stands on it's three original ball feet and retains the little steel blade / cutter to the top. The box unscrews for refilling with twine and the interior of the lid is lucky enough to have a pictorial makers mark, unknown but most probably a Birmingham based foundry. What is quite amazing is the ball of twine that came to me with the box and looks to be the original and untouched!
Dating to around 1880, the box remains in excellent condition. 3" in diameter x 4 1/2" tall.
