Antique French Tambour Top Writing Bureau

Exquisite small antique French writing bureau in mahogany with many fine features, dating from around the 1890-1910 period. Please enlarge all the images to see it open & closed. I particularly like the way the leather on the inside drawers & on the writing surface has naturally faded. It’s obviously original & gives this piece more character. This desk is mahogany with gilt metal or brass fittings. There is a pierced gallery on the top, more metal work along the top front, around the drawers, legs & other places. There is a pull up tambour front with a pull over writing surface exposing a very interesting interior. It has fine fluted taper legs with brass feet. This desk is in good condition.
