Late 19th Century silver pocket watch by Famous London watchmaker JW Benson
with full and clear hallmarks for 1881
in excellent age condition , silver case all fine prefect hinges , silver top bow with original fixing
cartouche lightly engraved , case marked with JWB
Lovely clear white enamel dial without any major cracks or chips, black baton style numerals ,blue steel hand, small sweep 60 second hand dial
Watch Crystal all nice and clear
Chain driven fusee movement working fine, and very nicely signed the JW Benson Ludgate Hill
London watchmaker by warrants to the QUEEN and the Prince of Wales
An original Benson watch made before they started to import Swiss made watches in 1881
Comes with a key , Watch size 44mm diameter weight 96.4 grams
