Super quality Davenport with a leather covered writing slope which opens to reveal a satin birch interior. The lid on top also opens and contains compartments for envelopes and notepaper, plus a pen tray with inkwells.

The desk has 4 drawers on one side with dummy drawers to the other, and stands on china castors. In Victorian times this was a very popular ladies' desk the colour, size and detailed carving making this one particularly desirable.
