A pretty Derby porcelain scent bottle and stopper with a rich mazarine blue ground and finely painted vignette of a rustic building set on some rocks beside a lake below some sheer cliffs in a country landscape. Rich gilt decoration framing the scene and edging the rim and stopper. Red mark to base, c.1815.

It measures 12.7cm (5") high and 6.5cm (2 1/2") wide.

Condition is very good with no damage or restoration. Minor wear to the gilt on the stopper and rim no discernible wear to the enamel or gilt further down. Payment is accepted by bank transfer, card payments (via an online invoice, I'm afraid we cannot take payments over the telephone), Paypal and UK personal cheque.
