Pewter Pint Tankard
Maker James Yates stamped near top of handle.
Approximate dimensions: height 11.1cm, weight 418 grams.
The top and bottom rim is not perfectly round. Please see photos. A sign of some merry celebrations possibly?
There is a short crack at the rim to the side of the handle approximately 1cm long.
It has two verification and capacity stamps, one from George's reign (GR), probably George V, and one from Elizabeth II's reign (ER).
Clearly marked GWR and R D for restaurant department.
Good aged patina on the tankard.
