Magnificent Large BURMANTOFTS Vase c.1890


One of the most stunning large BURMANTOFTS Faience Art Pottery Vases we have seen!
Condition is superb. Although c. 125 years old, this beautiful vase looks like it came out of the Burmantofts Leeds factory yesterday (Burmantofts Art Pottery was in production in Leeds from 1882 to 1904).
Featuring 2 large and wonderfully executed panels of daffodils in raised tube decoration, surrounded by complementary geometric and organic designs. Stunning colours, yellows, creams, greens and browns, with a rich dark blue background glaze to base and rim.
Fully marked to base BURMATOFTS FAIENCE, ENGLAND, and design no. 2044.
Condition is excellent, no chips cracks or restoration. (Any light areas in photos are reflections)
Height ~ 18 inches
