Mid 19th Century French Infantry Officers sword
Mid 19th Century French Infantry Officers sword in leather and brass scabbard. Floral pierced and partially gilded hilt with twisted brass wire bound horn grip. Slightly curved single fullered blade. Marked on spine with French Arsenal and date 1854. Some rust staining to blade which has some original polish. In general pretty good condition for age.
Approximately 95cm overall and blade length 77cm.
