This is a stunning George III flame mahogany tea caddy of rectangular form with an ogee moulded top, a silver scroll swing handle, a crimson velvet interior outlined with silver thread piping. There is a filigreed silver escutcheon and the piece sits on top of silver claw and ball feet. The internal canisters are missing, but the tea caddy is in excellent condition.
