Still Life Fruit Oil Painting By Jozsef J.Molnar
We are delighted to offer for sale this beautifully executed Still Life oil on canvas by the Hungarian artist Jozsef Molnar.
The painting depicts a display of grapes, a pear and a peach in a gilded tazza, alongside a similar tall glass flute with gilded stem, with a gilded lidded bowl to the left.
These items are displayed on a table with carved base with a draped and gold fringed green curtain to the right and vine leaves.
JOSZEF MOLNAR Was born in Hungary in 1929 and he studied at the Jozsef Attila School as well as receiving private lessons.
He became the pupil of the artist Karoli Szegvary and Peter Kloton.
His work has been seen in many countries since 1950-60 and is in the manner of the Dutch Baroque painters.
The painting is newly framed in a very nice ornate 3 1/2" swept gilt frame and is ready to hang.
Condition is Excellent throughout.
