This is a highly decorative pair of matching Victorian Silver Candlesticks with scroll decoration, Corinthian Capitals and detachable sconces.

Made by Silversmith James Dixon & Sons and Hallmarked in the Sheffield Assay Office in 1893.

The candlesticks are in very good condition with a small depression to the top of one capital below the detachable sconce (see fourth image).

The candlesticks weigh approximately 900g (weighted) and measure 170mm tall and 87mm across the base. Items purchased after the 15th of May 2025 will not be posted until 14th June 2025
