After the original Panther of Tunisia, this early 20th century bronze by Antoine-Louis Barye with J B Deposee foundry mark. A well modeled and cast figure and guaranteed french bronze. The plinth is a black with white veins marble.

There are no condition issues, the patina is good, there are no losses and no damage to report. the mount is firm and the base has a fresh green baize.

Overall the base is 9 3/4 inches by 5 inches and the height is maximum height of 5 1/2 inches base to tip of ears. Buchanan and Laing Galleries are a private client business. Appointments can be made by arrangement via email.
