This is an antique 3-draw telescope. An English, leather and brass terrestrial refractor by Broadhurst, Clarkson & Co, dating to the Edwardian period, circa 1910.
Perfect for bird watching, landscape appreciation, wildlife, or maritime observation. Equally suitable for observing the night sky
Dressed for the field and of usefully compact form
Displays a desirable aged patina throughout
Quality brass shows delightful golden hues and lightly time worn
Primary barrel dressed in stitched leather, tanned to alight brown
Of 3-draw type, drawing from a usefully compact length of 27cm (10.75'')
Fully drawn, extending to a length of 75cm (29.5'')
Primary objective lens with a generous diameter of 60mm (2.25")
Scratch to front element no hindrance to the viewing experience
Engraved to the final barrel for Broadhurst, Clarkson & Co of London
Leather dust cup with accessory carry strap for safe keeping
Supplied with a London Fine oak and brass Captains Stand for display
