This is a rare & beautiful solid silver antique purse c.1930 in very good condition with the original pink & white silk lining. So adorable & in perfect working order. Made in my favourite vanities shape - a clamshell! Alternating designs of smooth & repousse scrolls make for an eye-catching & desirable accessory which is possibly one of a kind. Both the lid & base match
& are hallmarked Turkish silver - please see image five for the close-up. The silver purse is in remarkably good condition. It has three tiny dings that are hard to see as the design is so ornate. The lining has survived with out any damage. All clasps & hinges work perfecty.
This antique solid silver purse measures 3 1/4" X 2 1/2" & weighs 44.3 grams.
