Here we have for sale a superb condition late Victorian Silver curved pocket Card Case which is of plain form and free of any engraved decoration or personalisation, a truly elegant and timeless card case.

Condition report
In excellent condition for age of its 123 year age with light surface scratches and minor tarnish marks, all the hallmarks are crisp and legible.
This is a rare and collectible silver antique card case because it has no decoration, just a clean almost 'modern' look. A curved card case was worn by those in high society to store their business cards within their waistcoats, hence its curved design to fit in the waistcoat pocket. This is a faultless example with the lid opening and closing so smoothly and the condition is so good it feels like a new piece of silver.
