This is a very pretty Antique Sterling Silver Fruit Knife from the 1800s. It would be a great gift, particularly for a birthday or 30th Wedding Anniversary.

It was made by Thomas Marples and it was Hallmarked in Sheffield in 1897.

The blade has a lovely etched pattern on one side of the blade along with the Hallmarks and Maker’s Mark. The reverse side has an etched line at the top of the blade.

The handle is beautifully smooth Mother of Pearl. There is a blank oval cartouche on one side of the handle.

Orders placed in the UK are sent by Royal Mail Tracked 48 or Special Delivery depending on the order value. Special Delivery is next working day before 1pm.

Royal Mail's delivery aim is 3-5 working days to Europe and 6-7 working days to the rest of the world. Please note some countries still have delays to their mail services due to Covid-19.

At busy times such as Christmas items can take longer to be delivered. Items may also be delayed in Customs, and although this doesn't happen often it can hold up a delivery.

Beeches Vintage is not responsible for delays in delivery once an order is dispatched.

Returns
We want you to be happy with your purchase so we offer a money back guarantee (less original postage costs) on all orders. A request to return an item needs to be made within 3 days of receiving
the order.

Items must be returned in the same condition as purchased and are sent back at the buyer's cost.

DimensionsThe fruit knife measures 10.6cm when open (4 1/4 inches) and 6.5cm when closed (just over 2 1/2 inches).
