A rare pair of brass, steel and ebony Arts & Crafts Fire or Coal Tongs, dating to circa 1880, manufactured by Benham and Froud and almost certainly designed by Dr Christopher Dresser. With a stamped makers mark for Benham and Froud and a Diamond Registration mark to the sides of the steel spring these are a great design with quality details like the ebony grip and hand-made screw to the end cap of the handle. Offered in good condition, commensurate with age, there is a slight offset to the coiled steel shape of the spring but overall good. They measure 46cm long. The price includes UK postage.

DELIVERY
Items are normally dispatched within 7 days of you placing an order with cleared payment.

Standard Furniture Delivery
You should receive the goods 10 - 14 days after ordering, more time is required for delivery to the Far North and Scotland. The furniture is sent with small independent and friendly couriers, who take very good care of the furniture whilst in transit. Delivery is to the door, but with request the driver will normally assist into a secure place, house, garage, outhouses, etc.
Levels Antiques do not accept responsibility for any damage caused on the customer's premises when the delivery is being made.

Drivers mobile number available for liaising on day of delivery. Only one delivery attempt will be made with arrangements for the drop off being made in advance.

RETURNS
Here at Levels Antiques we abide by the distance selling regulations (updated 13/6/14).
You have the right to cancel your order within 48 hours.
Once item/s are delivered you have 14 days to cancel the order. Return of your purchase(s) must be within 14 days of this cancellation date.

The cost of the item/s and any delivery charge paid by the buyer will be refunded, whilst the cost of returning the item/s is at the buyers’ own expense.
