139g Cased set of twelve solid silver Tea spoons & Tongs 1897

Lovely cased set of twelve tea spoons and sugar tongs , with scroll decoration and twisted handle typical of the late Victorian period. A very pretty set.

Hallmarked:
The Anchor for Birmingham
The Lion Passant for solid silver
All are date letter "x" for 1897 (tongs W for 1896)
Makers mark J.G for Joseph Gloster
Weight:139g (Boxed weight 550g)
size: spoon , 4 1/4” long

Condition is excellent, with no damage or repairs and no inscriptions.
