A pair of very early Cast Iron Fire Dogs (Late 16th / early 17thC) featuring Jacobean Foot Soldiers .

Old but later brackets have been added to the dogs to offer a raised support for the well cast Fire Basket which is probably of 19th C origin.

The Fire Basket can hang in 2 positions (shown on the photos).
