Antique Chinese famille verte porcelain lidded ginger jar, fine quality, dating from the 19th Century.
Finely painted.
Depicts six figures: a woman in a wheeled chair being pushed by a servant and two warriors on horseback with two other men running alongside, one waving a banner while the other wields a sword.
Borders at top & base with the dominant colour being green.
No marks on base.
Lid depicts a single figure and a border.

Dimensions: 18 cm high x 17 cm wide (7" x 6 1/2")

Weight: 985 gm

Condition: The jar itself is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. The lid, however, has been broken in two and badly glued together.
