A pretty silver vesta case with engine turned striped decoration front and back and with a circular vacant cartouche to one side. A nice slim shape, it has suspension hoop to the top to hang from a chatelaine. Hallmarked for Birmingham 1900, maker George Unite.

It measures 4.2cm (1 5/8") long (excluding ring), 3.2cm (1 1/4") wide and 0.6cm (1/4") deep. It weighs 19g/0.6ozt. Condition is very good with just a few light marks. The engraving and hallmarks are very clear, the lid closes perfectly and the spring in the hinge is also lovely and crisp. Payment is accepted by bank transfer, card payments (via an online invoice, I'm afraid we cannot take payments over the telephone), Paypal and UK personal cheque.
