Fine Edwardian Silver Arts & Crafts Salts & Spoons

For sale this pair of fine quality Arts & Crafts silver salts with gilt wash interiors and wonderful entwined heart design which is really evocative of the period and extremely stylish which come together with a delightful pair of Albany pattern silver salt spoons by the same maker.
Maker: Josiah Williams & Co
Assay Office: London
Date: 1908 & 1910
Weight: 52 grams (combined weight)
Length: 6.5 cm
Height: 2.5 cm
The salt spoons are just beautiful, details are as follows.
Maker: Josiah Williams & Co
Assay Office: London
Date:1909
Weight: 9 grams (combined)
Length: 6 cm
Total weight: 61 grams
Condition report: One of the salts has a minor dent and a minor old breakage to the silver that entwines the heart (only visible upon close inspection), the other salt is in excellent order, and both only display very light tarnish marks and surface scratches, overall a lovely pair of salts. The Albany pattern salt spoons are in excellent condition with only light tarnish marks. The original box is in overall good condition with a good clasp, however the silk interior is in poor order and is heavily worn.
These would make a lovely addition to your silverware collection: two beautifully crafted antique silver salts with a stunning Art Nouveau design around the rim, a collector’s item that will give you many years of pleasure to come.
These antique silver salts would make a superb Christmas present or Birthday gift or a beautiful asset for your own silver collection.
