A very good George III silver meat skewer, hallmarked London 1808, maker Thomas Hayter. Contemporary engraved initials V.P.L for the original owner to the with finger loop. Ready for use, perfect for your winter roasts or also popularly used nowadays as a letter opener / paper knife.

It measures 27.8cm (11") long and 2.5cm (1") wide and weighs 70g / 2.3ozt. 

In excellent condition with no damage or repair and minimal wear. Payment is accepted by bank transfer, card payments (via an online invoice, I'm afraid we cannot take payments over the telephone), Paypal and UK personal cheque. If you prefer to pay by Stripe please go to our website where we offer that option and additionally options to "Pay in 30 days" and to pay in 3 instalments, all securely supported.
