French Silver Minerva mark stamped twice: on the body of the box and on the side of the lid.
Also stamped with the maker's mark (a lozenge) for:
ERNEST ESCHWEGE, Paris (until 1921).
The silver box is intricately decorated with floral and foliage patterns on the lid and along the side.
Rare, great decorative item. Fully usable. This item is available to view at the Red House Antiques Centre in York.
