A pretty mid 19th century French silver tussie mussie / nosegay holder with embossed and engraved four sided open structure with wirework and vine leaves. Nicely shaped hexagonal form handle with bright cut engraved detail and finishing with a flared flower shape and ball finial which would have led to a carrying finger chain originally. A pin on a chain attached to one side to secure the posy in place. Unmarked as is usual, c.1850.

It measures 15cm (5 7/8") long and 3.5cm (1 3/8") wide. It measures 33g / 1.0ozt.

In very good condition with only minor signs of age and use. Payment is accepted by bank transfer, card payments (via an online invoice, I'm afraid we cannot take payments over the telephone), Paypal and UK personal cheque.
