For sale today we have this fine silver, enamel and turquoise calling card case designed by Archibald Knox. A flip top, gilt lined case that is decorated with a typical Knox style Celtic entrelac roundel that is further embellished with blue green enamel and an inset turquoise stone. Crisply hallmarked WHH- Anchor- Lion Passant- Date letter "g" for 1906. This design was created for the Liberty & Co "Cymric" range but the William Hair Haseler hallmark indicates that it was probably retailed through one of their affiliate stores like Connells of Cheapside.
