We have for sale a very attractive 1920s silver and glass dish.

This round dish consists of the original glass liner and an ornate silver pierced frame on four attractive feet with a body extending to ornate handles. The base of the frame carries full English Hallmarks for Birmingham 1927 along with the Regent Street Silversmiths Wilson & Gill.

The dish is approximately 5.25 inches (13.3cm) in diameter from handle to handle and just under 1.5 inches (3.7cm) high. The dish is in an excellent original conditionwith clearly struck hallmarks and makers marks. The liner is the original frosted liner typically used by Wilson and Gill and it is in a very good condition although the inner surface of the liner does carry one or two scratches and seems to have a small surface firing fault.
