Silver & Guilloche Enamel Jewellery / Ring Box
A fabulous Vintage English antique jewellery or ring box of ovoid form standing on four very pretty legs.
Made from English sterling silver, the hinged lid is smother in the prettiest yellow guilloche enamel with a bright patina showcasing the intricate and highly decorative engine turning below.
The lid opens to reveal a recently re-lined white interior, creating a fresh and clean finish ready for use. The silver is fully hallmarked on the underside of the box for Birmingham 1924 together with the makers initials for the well renowned silversmith, Henry Matthews.
Excellent condition (minor wear commensurate with age) without damage to the enamel. 3 3/4" x 2 1/4" x 1 5/8".
