Maker's mark for Henry Allday & Son, Chain Manufacturer, Warstone Lane, Birmingham.
Each link is stamped with the lion passant although all the marks are very rubbed.
The maker's mark is on the chain and one clasp although the marks are very rubbed.
A modern silver T-bar and one clasp are fitted. They are stamped 925 or sterling.
Approximate dimensions: length 49cm with 5cm for a fob, weight 75.9 grams.
A well made chain which is still is in very good order even though it shows a lot of use through the rubbed marks.
A good heavy chain.
