A Silver (Tested) Gilt and Engraved Double Ended Scent Bottle.The screw tops still retain much of the Gilding.The faceted and engraved body has obviously been Gilt on alternate Facets where some remaining Gilt can be seen in the depth of the Engraving. Each end opens to reveal original 'Silver' stoppers. Cannot see any Silver Marks,its origin could be India? A quality piece for the Collector. It is 13cms long. c.1900 I am listed as a Private Dealer but some of my Stock can be viewed at The Antique Shop, 53, High Street Heathfield E.Sussex.If you wish, I am am able meet you there to discuss any items and also bring along any items which are not on Antiques Atlas but not displayed in the Shop.
