Charming silver hunting horn ornament of tapered form with flared rim, ribbed and stepped mouthpiece and decorative reeded bands to the middle section. It has a suspension hoop on a chain attached to the middle, possibly later applied, and the horn balances perfectly level from it. The body of the horn and mouthpiece are hallmarked for Chester 1928, maker E Baker & Son. The chain is not marked.

It measures 11 7/8" long and 1 3/8" wide at the end and weighs 49g/1.6ozt. Condition is very good with no damage and light surface wear. It bows ever so slightly. The hallmarks are slightly rubbed at the edges but fully legible. Payment is accepted by bank transfer, card payments (via an online invoice, I'm afraid we cannot take payments over the telephone), Paypal and UK personal cheque.
