A really stunning Pair of Victorian Silver 'Shell' Butter Dishes.These lovely Dishes are larger than the average Shell Butter Dish They are scalloped all round and the Foliate Repousse Work is very fine and detailed. They are raised on three Ball Feet and have clear Hallmarks for Sheffield 1898 by Jenkins & Timm . They are 19cms x 15.5cms max and weigh 280 Grammes. Condition is Excellent. I am listed as a Private Dealer but some of my Stock can be viewed at The Antique Shop, 53, High Street Heathfield E.Sussex.If you wish, I am am able meet you there to discuss any items and also bring along any items which are not on Antiques Atlas but not displayed in the Shop.
