Wonderful Edwardian Ventriloquist Dummy
Dating to the Edwardian period
What a cute looking little fellow he is.
Of Paper mache and wood construction, grey flannel three piece suit,tie and stiff collar.
Carved Wooden hands and paper mache boots,blue glass eyes.
His head is attached to a wooden pole, this in turn has the metal finger levers for the movement of lower mouth, upper lips and right eye lid closure for winking, all mechanisms work.
He is in good original condition with age related craquelure to the face which only adds to the character of this wonderful little chap.
He stands 23 inches tall head to toe.
Figures of this quality and age are getting harder to find, a true collectors item and an investment piece.
