Aynsley China
Aynsley was founded in 1775 by John Aynsley in Staffordshire, England. Aynsley are makers of bone china, table, giftware and commemorative ware.
Their china is a favoured choice of the Royal family and Britain's Romany and travelling communities.
The company was taken over in 1970 by Waterford and renamed Aynsley China Ltd. Waterford then sold the company in 1987 to Wedgwood, it was then acquired in 1997 by the Belleek pottery group in Ireland.
The Stoke on Trent factory was closed in 2014 ending 239 years of china making in Staffordshire with production outsourced to China.
