1930s Ladies dressing case - silver accessories

A good, ladies, leather dressing case with hallmarked silver accessories. For a set of this quality we are surprised that it bears no maker's name but each piece bears the London Hall Mark for 1938 and the initials C.A.L over S (tempting to suppose that this is connected to to Asprey but our research tells us that this is unlikely).
Complete other than two pieces the case's contents are as follows - pair of hair brushes, mirror, comb, pair of clothes brushes, shoe horn, nail file, pair of rectangular cut glass containers, another of deeper form, single long rectangular cut glass container....all of these having silver handles, trim (in the case of the comb) or lids.
In the lid, beneath the mirror, is a capacious compartment for jewellery complete with its velvet cushion. Hinges are good and tight, the handle is very good and the lock is operational with the key in its original little pouch.
On the downside, apart from the one missing utensil (left hand side of base) and one missing container (this incidentally would not have been a match for any of the others so some latitude is possible when re-equipping) the are one or two minor 'dings' in the hairbrush backs and what appears to be the residue of some long ago spilt nail varnish to a small area of the bases silk lining.
With some cleaning and a couple of suitable accessories sourced this would make a very smart outfit.
Price includes carriage to any UK address.
