Anglo-Indian Silver Bowl, Bombay or Karachi, c1920

A beautiful example of Bombay or Karachi craftsmanship in Calcutta style with embossed decoration of hill city pattern, depicting traditional buildings and architecture, churches, threes, foliage and bridges. The bowl is marked underneath C.G.K (untraced) and 95, referring to the content of silver. The maker requires further research.
Height: 5.5 cm | Diameter: 10 cm | Weight: 118 g.
The silver is in very good condition with general wear, commensurate with age and use. The bowl is exquisitely engraved. Over time, one feet has moved and has created a kind of bulge into the silver, but nothing detrimental to its beautiful aesthetic.
